Cited doesn't have plans or monthly fees. The first audit is free. After that you buy credits when you need them, and nothing renews.
1 credit = $1. Current prices for audits, extra questions, extra models, fixes and packs are always on the pricing page, and the app shows the price in credits before you spend anything.
What costs credits
- Paid audits. A standard audit covers your questions on a flagship and a fast model from OpenAI, Gemini and Claude. Extra questions and extra models (including Google AI Mode and AI Overviews) cost more.
- Fixes beyond the ones included with a paid audit.
What's free: the free audit, the AI bot check at /ai-bot-check, scanning your site, drafting questions, reading reports and sharing them.
Ways to pay
- Credit packs. Larger packs come with bonus credits. Each pack lasts 12 months from purchase, and Cited always spends the credits that expire first.
- A single audit without buying a pack. Useful for a one-off check.
- Auto-refill (optional). Save a card, pick a pack and set a monthly limit in dollars. When your balance runs low, Cited buys that pack for you with a bonus. It pauses if it reaches your limit.
- Voucher codes. Redeem a code on the Billing page to add free credits.
Payments go through Stripe. Cited never sees your card number.
Refunds
- Failed audits give their credits back automatically.
- Unused credits from packs bought in the last 30 days can be refunded. Ask for one on the Billing page.
When an agent buys for you
An AI agent connected to Cited can show you prices, check your balance and start a checkout, but it can't pay on its own. Purchases return a Stripe checkout link for you to open. See Agent signup and buying.
