Cited helps small businesses get recommended by AI
More people now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude where to buy, who to hire and what to try. The answer names a few businesses. Cited checks whether yours is one of them, shows you who gets named instead, and gives you the changes that make a difference.
We built it for owners and small teams, not marketing departments. You can use it in the browser, or let your AI assistant do the whole thing for you.
How it works
1.Check
Paste one prompt into Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant. It runs a free audit of five questions your buyers ask and tells you whether the answers cite your site.
2.Audit
A paid audit asks your questions to OpenAI, Gemini and Claude, two models each, three times per question, and can add Google AI Mode and AI Overviews. It also checks whether AI bots can reach your site.
3.Fix
You get recommendations labelled proven or best practice, and the files to fix them: llms.txt, schema markup, FAQ blocks and robots.txt rules, each with a short install guide for your site builder.
4.Re-check
Mark a fix as done and Cited verifies it is live on your site. Your next audit shows whether the fix is working.

- You buy credits when you need an audit. Nothing renews, and unused credits from a recent pack can be refunded.

- Every score links back to the actual AI answers and the sites they cited, so you can check our work.
- Your agent can do it all
- Everything in the web app also works from an AI assistant: our hosted MCP connector, the cited command-line tool, or a copied prompt.
- You stay in control of your site
